Madiha Ali is a former refugee from Pakistan who lived in Indonesia for five years before being resettled to New Zealand in 2018. She graduated from the University of Waikato with her LLB (Hons) majoring in Law and Political Science.

Currently, she is working at the Auckland High Court as a Judges' Clerk and is on her way to be admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
