We’re looking forward to the public launch of Hui E! Community Aotearoa’s People’s Report on the Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on 3 July. The National Commission contributed funding toward this report, which provides an important community perspective.
The launch will be followed by a cross-sector panel discussion on the theme of ‘Empowering people and ensuring inclusiveness and equality’.
The People’s Report complements the government’s progress report, which it will present to the United Nations in July. The panel theme mirrors the theme of the July meetings in New York and has particular importance to New Zealand, where inequalities continue to exist.
Registration for those who wish to attend the launch in person is essential due to the size of the venue. This event is recorded and will be live streamed via Hui E!’s Facebook page.
